1. Ventilation: Firstly, it is necessary to increase the air circulation in the space where the cabinet is located. Open windows or use exhaust fans to promote the discharge of humid air and help dry the interior. If it is a sideboard near the kitchen or bathroom, make sure to turn on the range hood or exhaust fan when using it to reduce water vapor accumulation.
2. Use dehumidification tools: Place desiccants or dehumidification boxes inside and around the sideboard, such as silicone bags, bamboo charcoal bags, or specialized dehumidifiers. These materials can effectively absorb excess moisture and reduce moisture exposure. Regularly replace or air dry the moisture absorbent to maintain its effectiveness.
3. Gentle cleaning: Use a clean, slightly damp cloth to gently wipe the inner and outer surfaces of the cutlery cabinet to remove any possible water droplets or stains, and then dry with a dry cloth. Avoid using too much moisture to prevent further dampness.
